grand meeting was held in Ba Dinh Hall in Hanoi on April 29 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and the reunification of the south and the north.

Among those present at the meeting were General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) Nong Duc Manh; former CPVCC General Secretary Do Muoi; President and Politburo member Tran Duc Luong; Prime Minister and Politburo member Phan Van Khai; Chairman of the National Assembly and Politburo member Nguyen Van An; President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Presidium Pham The Duyet; and General Vo Nguyen Giap, who is former Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam People's Army.

The MSM's account is almost in lock-step with Nhan Dan (the official Communist Party Organ) - what a surprise.

Tomorrow, 30 April 2005, marked the 30th anniversary of the Fall of free Vietnam. I have several Vietnamese-American friends who will be in mourning tomorrow. Tomorrow, the fruits of the efforts of Jane Fonda, John Kerry, and all of their useful idiot fellow travelers will be celebrated by the commies. I, and millions of Vietnamese, will mourn the fall of a nation that was abandoned in 1973 to fight an emeny that was supplied by both the USSR and PRC. The RVN had almost nothing with which to fight while the DRVN had all the supplies that they could want. Thanks to a gutless congress that ended aid and supplies to a hard-fighting ally.

I shall mourn the millions who were murdered, relocated, and sent to "re-education" centres.

Morn the millions.

I'd prefer to mourn the 56,000 Americans who died for nothing in a war that we never should of been involved with.

Zarf, our boy are on my list as well. Don't misunderstand my post. Remember, we were helping them fight for their right to have a government of their choosing and not Hanoi's.

A pox on the MSM.

How many millions of their own countrymen did they sacrifce 'for the cause'?

Communism is a destroyer of nations and their will to live and work together with other nations in harmony.

To all those who made it out and are now proud Americans, Welcome Home!

And to all those who fought the good fight, God Bless You and the souls of those who perished fighting to free the enslaved in foreign lands.

Now if we could just free the silent majority in America from the lefties working against FRee people amidst our own communities.

Amen, brother!

If you read papers such as Nhan Dan and compare it with our own MSM, you would be hard pressed to find any difference.

The US, Australians, New Zealanders, South Koreans, and RVN forces fought (often hamstrung by weak-kneed policiticans) against the vile scourge of Marxist-Leninist thought. On the battlefield, US and ARVN forces won victories only to watch forked-tongued diplomats and slimy policitcians p*ss away the capital of those victories.
