Hold on, now, don't diss all chiropractors. I see one once a month ... it's covered by insurance, just like if it were a medical procedure ... and it's done wonders for my arthritic right hip/sacroiliac. I consulted an orthopedist about it, and he told me, "You've got a touch of arthritis in your right hip/sacroiliac, when it flares up call us and we'll give you a prescription for Celebrex, goodbye," and was out the door. A co-worker recommended chiropractic to me, I took the "plunge" and have not regretted it a bit, regular adjustments in that area have greatly helped relieve what was basically a constant toothache of a pain WITHOUT anything like Celebrex. I will say this, though, my chiropractor deals strictly with the relief of musculo-skeletal problems, period, does not see anyone for any other reason. In other words, he's never once told me he could cure terminal cancer by manipulating the spine.

As far as the dental thing, my mother-in-law recently fell and broke her femur, and it had to be surgically repaired, and her dentist told her the other day that because of that, mostly over the fact that she has a "foreign object" in her leg now (a rod), she'll always have to do a round of antibiotics before any dental procedures.

You are right, I am sorry for even linking chiropractors with lowlife orthodontist.

In a perfect world, Orthodontist would end up at the bottom of the ocean, under the lawyers!!!
