Gold State. You have misread the polls. The poll tracks popularity across Canada. If you look at Quebec you will see the libs ahead of the CPC. In the rest of Canada, the CPC is ahead. This predicts a majority Conservative government.
It will get much worse for the libs. They will be attacked in every province and from the left and the right. They are dispirited and discouraged. They are virtually leaderless and are being torn internally. They are absolutely ripe for an electoral drubbing.

If the federal Liberals drop below 30% and get drubbed in their GTA ridings, my apologies. It would take an act of God to reduce the Liberals to the status of the late Progressive Conservatives in 1993. I'd love it if they were reduced to a mere 2 seats in the House Of Commons. The problem is as far as fantasies go, its way off the scale.

Not true.
The Bloc Quebecois are WAY ahead of the Fiberals in Quebec.
The Liberal support is concentrated in urban Ontario (primarily the Greater Toronto Area) and Atlantic Canada.
