gators are easily coaxed to the bank by a small dog barking..you can also tether a young goat or sheep next to the bank and it's bleating will call the gator to dinner.

Course the gator ends up as a belt and wallet and Dinner!!!!

"You would not believe how many one-legged ducks I've seen."

So, a duck walks into a bar with a wooden leg...........

I have 2 of the little rascals-wonderful pets. They think they weigh 300 lbs. are absolutely fearless (and stubborn) due to their badger hunting instincts. Dachshunds = death from the ankles down.

"preference" probably doesn't play a big role in the workings of a reptilian brain. More like: "big splash, warm thing, moving, crunch, gulp, wait, maybe more coming". The thought processes are likely the same whether it's a duck, a dog, or a toddler, so screw PETA and the EPA and shoot the damn lizard.

That's when an alligator grabbed him.

A conspiracy between the Gator and the Ducks.

Forgive me, but I have grown sick of the cat haters on FR advocating all sorts of evil treatment of cats

Naw, you got us all wrong. Me? I love cats -- they make fantastic bait when trolling for gators. ;-)

Why kill the alligator for doing what it does naturally?

To make a pair of shoes...

"The first thing I yelled was, 'Kathy, get a towel, because Gizmo's gonna be wet.'

Shoulda been "Kathy, get a trowel, because Gizmo's gonna be et."

Yup. With all the damn problems down here you figure the Northerners would give up coming and move to Arizona or Texas.

No such luck, unfortunately.

Why did the gator have to be killed?

Because they're pests. Rats with scaly tails.

Dogs are lost every year. The smarter gators hang out near the shore waiting for something to come into the water.
