This just increases the urgency to throw the bums out!!! How come Quebec gets to choose its judges and no one else??

Think the issue is more that all Judges at every level, in every province should rightly either be elected or very publicly vetted prior to appointment by committees of our duly elected representatives.

Plus, there should be Judicial term limits and having proven by past misconduct that they are little more than criminal conspiracies against the public interest, law societies and so-called "Judicial Councils" should be totally barred from input into the selection process.

Finally, in a perfect world, all lawyers as "Officers of The Court" would be deemed to have a conflict of interest which would properly prohibit them from even running for any legislative Office.
