If anybody had said something like this TWICE about BJ Klintoon, they would have been locked away in some secret prison that made Abu Ghraib look like day camp.

"If the bit was understood to be a threat against the president," Rhodes explained, "I need to apologize to the president of the United States, and I do....

It's understood as incitement to violence against the President, which is a distinction even the regulars on the short bus can understand intuitively... but I guess when one is blinded by hate, they're in no position to take a good look at their own behavior.

[In his book, Skorski notes Rhodes' disdain for Bush, saying a promotion for her radio program last summer stated: "The difference between Hitler and Bush is that Hitler was elected."]

You'd have to work pretty hard to get more facts wrong in such a short statement.

Anyone who can read history books knows that Hitler was not elected. Anyone who thinks George Bush was not elected is a DICK (Democrat Internet Conspiracy Kook).

It would seem that Randi Rhode's "apology" lacks any value, considering that she pulled the same crap a year ago.

Maybe she could apologize for that too, and everything will be hunky dory.

On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the Secret Service to haul Craig Kilborn's ass in for putting on that GWB clip prior to the election of 2000 with the caption "snipers wanted". If there was ANYONE who should have done prison time for that, it was Kilborn. But he got a pass.

So too, will this no talent, unintelligent beeotch Rhodes.

Perhaps Rhodes has unresolved "issues" with her mother.

She seems to want to make herself become embarrassingly notorious right before Mother's Day.

My beef with Randi Rhodes spewing this bile is some barking moonbat type might get "inspired" to follow through. And based on the Democrats behavior here in Saint Paul, MN (trashing Republican Party offices, torching a front porch in Richfield, etc.), the probability appears to increase.
Savage is right. Modern liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

Al Franken. In his book, Skorski notes Rhodes' disdain for Bush, saying a promotion for her radio program last summer stated: "The difference between Hitler and Bush is that Hitler was elected."

Actually..if memory serves..hitler was not elected..his party received around 40% of the vote..and they literally bullied themselves thru the legislature with violence..he intimated hindenburg to literally hand over power to him..

And now she has gone on to inciting the looters to loot last week. She urged them to go loot the good stuff, not loot just at Wal-Mart. She even named off a list of stuff they needed to loot.

And as such she committed a felony under Louisiana law. Air America Radio has a station in New Orleans (WSMB-AM 1350 AM).

RS 14:28 §28. Inciting a felony
A. Inciting a felony is the endeavor by one or more persons to incite or procure another person to commit a felony.
B. Whoever commits the crime of inciting a felony shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars, or imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than two years, or both.
C. If an offender over the age of seventeen years commits the crime of inciting a felony by endeavoring to incite or procure a person under the age of seventeen years to commit a felony, the offender shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars and imprisoned at hard labor for not more than five years.
Amended by Acts 1968, No. 647, §1; Acts 1994, 3rd Ex. Sess., No. 131, §1.

RS 14:329.2 §329.2. Inciting to riot
Inciting to riot is the endeavor by any person to incite or procure any other person to create or participate in a riot.
Acts 1969, No. 176, §3.

RS 14:329.1 §329.1. Riot Defined
A. A riot is a public disturbance involving an assemblage of three or more persons acting together or in concert which by tumultuous and violent conduct, or the imminent threat of tumultuous and violent conduct, results in injury or damage to persons or property or creates a clear and present danger of injury or damage to persons or property.
Acts 1969, No. 176, §2.
