If anybody had said something like this TWICE about BJ Klintoon, they would have been locked away in some secret prison that made Abu Ghraib look like day camp.

"If the bit was understood to be a threat against the president," Rhodes explained, "I need to apologize to the president of the United States, and I do.... It's understood as incitement to violence against the President, which is a distinction even the regulars on the short bus can understand intuitively... but I guess when one is blinded by hate, they're in no position to take a good look at their own behavior.

Oh jeez, she can't even admit that the "gulag" set up by the Soviet communists. Now, now, those weren't gulags, they were re-education centers for subversives who were trying to corrupt the glorious worker's paradise.

[In his book, Skorski notes Rhodes' disdain for Bush, saying a promotion for her radio program last summer stated: "The difference between Hitler and Bush is that Hitler was elected."]
You'd have to work pretty hard to get more facts wrong in such a short statement.
Anyone who can read history books knows that Hitler was not elected. Anyone who thinks George Bush was not elected is a DICK (Democrat Internet Conspiracy Kook).

Randi Rhodes = Jane Fonda 2005.
This idiot isn't sitting on some Iraqi gun placement for only one reason. She knows that the Muslims would make mincemeat out of her on the Internet. One could only hope...

I thought he was a dead heavy metal guitar player with Ozzy Osborne.

By golly, I think you've got it nailed right there, PR for a show that's getting abysmal ratings, even in NYC!

It would seem that Randi Rhode's "apology" lacks any value, considering that she pulled the same crap a year ago.
Maybe she could apologize for that too, and everything will be hunky dory.
On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the Secret Service to haul Craig Kilborn's ass in for putting on that GWB clip prior to the election of 2000 with the caption "snipers wanted". If there was ANYONE who should have done prison time for that, it was Kilborn. But he got a pass.
So too, will this no talent, unintelligent beeotch Rhodes.
To: wagglebee
Perhaps Rhodes has unresolved "issues" with her mother.
She seems to want to make herself become embarrassingly notorious right before Mother's Day.

My beef with Randi Rhodes spewing this bile is some barking moonbat type might get "inspired" to follow through. And based on the Democrats behavior here in Saint Paul, MN (trashing Republican Party offices, torching a front porch in Richfield, etc.), the probability appears to increase.
Savage is right. Modern liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

Al Franken. In his book, Skorski notes Rhodes' disdain for Bush, saying a promotion for her radio program last summer stated: "The difference between Hitler and Bush is that Hitler was elected." Actually..if memory serves..hitler was not elected..his party received around 40% of the vote..and they literally bullied themselves thru the legislature with violence..he intimated hindenburg to literally hand over power to him..

Hell, the left still thinks the Nazis were conservatives, while in reality they were to the left of the communists.
