Well, the President thinks about problems and he made that clear tonight (as if we did not know that). If I discarded every person I know who did not agree with me on everything and who did not do exactly what I want every time, I think I would be a pretty shallow person, and also a very lonely one. He is human and can't change everything and do everything, but I wouldn't at this time want anyone else in the place that he is. We could have had Algore after all, who wouldn't know the truth or the right thing to do if it hit him square in the face. I want control over the borders, I want the government smaller, starved if necessary. But all of this cannot happen at once. So I think we should keep fighting the good fight, elect more Tom Coburns and Cornyns and DeLays and Santorums and see if we can't do some good. Don't make the perfect the enemy of the good.
