Turkeys can sort of fly can't they?
Hmmmmm? "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs." Where have I heard this before?
Blast. I didn't get my media and democrat bashing.
I agree... Nothing really memorable, just repeated his plans.
If he's worried about his popularity on the gas issue, he should have stressed that Congress has ignored his plan since 2001.
Government parasites have already stolen over $80,000 from me just for the SS Ponzi scam, and I have many years before I hit SS age, especially because it's going to keep getting pushed further and further out.
It'll collapse before then. I won't even get my $80k back that they've stolen to date, much less what they steal in the future.
How do you propose I recover the money Bush and his ilk have stolen from me?

They don't care that I want a better rate of return for my money.
I'm an "old folk" NN, and I care about you and your future and don't want to see you robbed of a chance to make it good.
"Governing based on polls is like a dog chasing its tail"
Nice zing on the reporter leaving out the part of Meyers' comment where he said we were WINNING!
You are right, Kevin. Plus, he has a twinkle in his eye. He's prepared for the media.
I think he means a bigger percentage of what is paid in for the poor, than for the rich....
I read that somewhere this afternoon.
Well, they can get off the ground.
Sort of hop, I think. If they don't drowned first. :-)
I'm in my twenties and ticked off at Congress for denying me the right to use my money to plan for retirement.
Unbelieveable. Apparently according to the reporter we're losing in Iraq. They'll have an economy outproducing ours and the press will still be saying this 100 years from now.
We have a progressive income tax. For many years. Why are you surprised that it is a value in this country that poor get a break in a lot of ways.
That's one of my rotating taglines :-)
Some guy named Marx?
Just as they ignored terrorism through the 90s. They would rather chase Delay around, even if it means rewriting old news, than cover the issues.
