Two illegal entrants were arrested Thursday after leading Highway Patrol officers on a mile-long chase in which one of the entrants was hit by a vehicle.
The incident began when an officer tried to pull over a black Chevrolet Suburban on Interstate 10 because it wouldn't get out of her way as she was driving to the scene of an accident with injuries on Interstate 19.
She wanted to investigate because the driver was speeding and driving recklessly, said Officer Jim Oien, a spokesman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The driver turned onto city streets when the officer tried to stop the vehicle, Oien said. The officer chased it while other officers went to the accident.
Near the 1700 block of East Benson Highway, close to the Pima County Sheriff's Department headquarters, the Suburban stopped and six people jumped out and ran, Oien said.
As they crossed the busy street, a woman in the group was clipped by the mirror of another vehicle, Oien said. That driver stopped, but the woman kept running into a wash.
Officers continued to chase the group and a helicopter joined the search about 10 a.m. Officers found two of the people in the wash and arrested them. The other four escaped.
The driver of the SUV was charged with unlawful flight from a law enforcement vehicle, reckless driving and false reporting to law enforcement. That man has been deported 17 times under different aliases, Oien said, and was booked into the Pima County jail as a John Doe.
The woman, whose name was not released, was turned over to the Border Patrol to be deported. Her minor injuries did not require medical attention. Oien did not know the entrants' nationalities.
LOL. Better watch it ... you'll have FR's hydrotransited xenoform "activists" after ya. ;)
lol!
It looks like we have 2 sets of justice. One for Americans and one for illegals. This country is going to have to come to grips with some of this soon.
I am like you, I don't have a clue about what Bush is doing. I do know what he is not doing and that is his job.
by the way, i might join up with the minutemen. have you considered it?
17 times? So he must have 17 drivers lics. What! Only 15? Find out who's responsible for this miscarriage and cast them in irons, and be damn quick about!
Whoooooeeee! You nailed the PC definition of the day. I like it.
it makes absolutely NO sense for them to neglect the borders...NONE!"
Yes it does.
When Americans are no longer a majority in the U.S.
When Americans are more worried about how to feed their kids.
America will lose her sovereignity and become a STATE of the world government.

You left "bed bugs" off of your list of what "illegal immigrants" produce.
There needs to be an incremental policy. 2nd strike should be a year. 3rd strike should be 10 years.
The whole thing stinks of payoffs and a US government operating against Americans. We imprison our own children and poor for possession of small qualities of the very stuff that the smugglers are bringing in and making huge profits from, yet are not penalized at all for, except for certain 'import taxes'.
Because of very strict DWI laws a friend was put through the system on that charge. He was just 16. Part of the process involved a visit to traffic court. What used to be a small city court which worked with a reasonable amount of efficiency was now taken up from when if first opened till about 3 pm with illegal mexican's having been caught driving without any kind of license or insurance, there were about 30 of them on this day. All of them were given the curtsey of a court translator, state paid legal representation and all got off with a $100.00 fine and were released. Meanwhile this kid who had his license and insurance, had a disputably legal or illegal toxicity of alcohol, was fined at least $1000.00, was made to attended classes twice a week for 3 hours each night, for 6 weeks, no matter how it interfered with college classes and work, and had his license removed for that time so that rides to this mandatory class were a huge problem, not to mention the rest of the havoc caused in his life.
I voted for Bush, he was better than kerry, but what the heck is he doing?
I neglected to mention that this whole court thing happened in Danbury Connecticut, which certainly is not a 'border state'.
I wasn't going to bring up that KaBoom....
BTTT!
#8 - Nice. BTTT!
I'll try to do something of that nature in San Diego County.
Feel free to borrow it. Hell, feel free to steal it outright.
"I think my Congressman (Kolbe, R-AZ8) said you only had to do it 3 times..."
Once is 1 too many!
