I found a caterpillar in my raspberries once. The worst damage I suffered was the "at least it wasn't half a caterpillar!" comedians.

Last fall, while visiting Busch Gardens, some unidentifiable thing flew into my mouth, and I could not spit it out.

The emotional trauma of swallowing that bug has left me unable to work, unable to drive, barely able to drag myself out of bed each day. I am an emotional wreck. Oh, I might LOOK like I'm at work, smiling, talking, busy, but it's all a thin veneer over the horrible pain I feel.

So, is my case strong enough to wring a few hundred thousand dollars out of the Anheiser-Busch company, or should I pile the BS a little higher?

The dude should get something, but that amount is ridiculous.

Yes. A new bottle of water. And a contract cancellation. People like these generate 90% of the customer complaints. Better to lose them than waste more productive service time.

Plus all this "emotional damage" stuff galls me. Are we a nation whose psyches are made out of cotton candy?

Well, we ARE talking about Canada.

Interesting after reading most of the comments, that most of you especially the person I am emailing know's jsh*t about how our system of jurisprudence works, let alone on what basis a court would throw out a case,, hint hint, frivolous case., next time you swollow a fly or a fish netting and god forbit the worst case scenario is you choke on it, you better hope you have an insurance policy, so as to perhaps bar to some extent your beneficiaries from suing the s.o.b that put it in there, but then again you won't know because the dirt would be settling and your beneficiaries would be enjoying the fruits of your demise.

This could be a great promo for beverage companies. Find a fly in the bottle and win $340,000.00.
