Laura Ingraham underwent what has been called successful surgery yesterday, Veteran radio talk show host Barry Farber filled in for Laura on Wednesday and during the first half hour of the show gave this update:
"Laura Ingraham, thank God, is fine [and] resting comfortably after successful surgery." Farber also mentioned that the surgery was "performed early."
He also confirmed that Laura will be back on the air live on Thursday.

Back live tomorrow. That's great news!
I wish her nothing but the best.
Thank you for the update!
Nothing, but love and support for my homegirl.
This is great GREAT news!! Thank you Jesus!
It will be good to hear Laura again.
It's definitely better to catch these things as early as possible, but the talk of "succesful" surgery and catching it "early" are simplifications. Succesful surgery means surviving the surgery without complications and a belief that all of the cancerous breast tissue was removed. I don't know if they even have the pathology report yet, but there are so many factors. The location and type of breast cancer, whether it was invasive of surrounding tissue, tumor grade, tumor size, blood vessel involvement, possible lymph involvement, etc. All these things have to be factored into the treatment options and prognosis. And sadly, e.g. with my sister in law, even cancers caught extremely early and with the best prognosis sometimes return and spread in any event. So I hope Laura is one of the fortunate ones but no one can know for certain at this point.
Thoughtful note.
Thanks.
God bless her and GET WELL SOON, LAURA! WE NEED YOU!
Michael Savage reported on his Tuesday show that Laura has an "angry" form of breast cancer.
I don't want to guess at this but "angry" could mean inflammatory breast cancer, which appears on the skin. It's rare and highly dangerous, not that they all aren't. It could also mean a high grade tumor, or a Her2neu type tumor, which has a worse prognosis than hormone positive tumors. But having been negative, I'll also say there have been a lot of treatment advances in the last ten years with some more on the way, so there are chances at beating these things or at least turning them into chronic conditions.
That's my girl: back on the air tomorrow!
I am glad she is back on the air so soon. But I hope she takes time to stop and smell the roses too. Now more than ever.
Great news, thanks for the update.
We love Laura and wish her nothing but the best outcome from this setback.
We pray to Jesus Christ for her recovery.
