AIR AMERICA RADIO INVESTIGATED AFTER BUSH 'GUNSHOTS'
**Exclusive**
The red-hot rhetoric over Social Security on liberal talkradio network AIR AMERICA has caught the attention of the Secret Service, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Government officials are reviewing a skit which aired on the network Monday evening -- a skit featuring an apparent gunshot warning to the president!
The announcer: "A spoiled child is telling us our Social Security isn't safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here's your answer, you ungrateful whelp: [audio sound of 4 gunshots being fired.] Just try it, you little bastard. [audio of gun being cocked]."
The audio production at the center of the controversy aired during opening minutes of The Randi Rhodes Show.
"What is with all the killing?" Rhodes said, laughing, after the clip aired.
"Even joking about shooting the president is a crime, let alone doing it on national radio... we are taking this very seriously," a government source explained.

IIRC this is not the first time that the Secret Service has investigated Ranki Rhodes for this kind of "humor".

She had a bit where she compared Bush to Fredo and suggested GHWB should go out on a rowboat with W and off him. She made a "PKKKEWWWWW" gunshot noise.

Welll---i heard the first few minutes off & on with this lousy internet connection.....and all I heard her say was--"I didn't think the bit was funny either." SHe's obviously scared and recanting and blaming someone else for her shows material. She also blasted Matt Drudge for saying 'she WAS investigated by the FBI.' She said she wasn't. But....Drudge didn't say that. He said Air America. She's just blowing it our her ____ as usual because her lemmings will believe anything she says...and she's petrified.

I don't think we get Err America in our area but I have been wanting to listen. I suspect it would be just a foul as DU.com. I also wonder about the precautions they take when President Bush is at his ranch. I remember hearing it is only about 1500 acres. I am sure the neighboring ranches are monitored by SS at least I hope they are.
