Microsoft’s Internet Explorer dominates with 86.63 percent of the market, but Apple’s own Safari Web browser is in third, with 1.26 percent. Netscape makes up about 1.08 percent of the global market, according to OneStat.com, with Opera trailing the pack with about 1.03 percent.

I've gone to Firefox almost exclusively because of its tab feature.

I installed Netscape 8 Beta, but haven't done all that much with it because it doesn't handle one of my applications well. It has a tab feature which seems pretty nice.

I also have IE, but haven't opened it for a week or so. MS needs to update it with an "Open in tabs" feature.

try http://www.avantbrowser.com It's the IE engine, so it works everywhere, and it has tabs and a popup blocker. I use it exculsively now.

Continuing good news. Firefox doesn't have to take the market from IE by any means, all that really counts for me is that enough power users switch so that webmasters have to move away from IE-specific code.

Not to mention the easy way you can configure the extensions to block ads, suppress graphics and Flash.

All Firefox needs is Opera's zoom capability to be the perfect browser.

It's been reported that the beta of MSIE 7 has tabs, and several other features.

For anyone that doesn't have Firefox, go to Mozilla.com, download it, and give it a try. It's easy to install and doesn't delete IE. You can always go back to IE, but I doubt you'll want to.
