Another OBL *PING*!

Last year Congress took no action on the bill, the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act. But it’s expected that Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, will re-introduce the measure.

Well, it's now been proven true...

"Never Count your Hatch's before they Chicken!"

One of the students caught in the job market limbo is 24-year-old Julieta Garibay, who is set to graduate with a nursing degree from the University of Texas – and has no job prospects due to her status as an illegal immigrant.

In February, Garibay joined a group from Texas who traveled to Washington to lobby Congress for passage of the Dream Act.

Why wasn't she immediately arrested for breaking the law?

Send them back, for Pete's sake.

We have far too many people as it is.

Enough!

A controversial bill called the Dream Act, if passed, would grant permanent residency – and the right to land a job - to college-educated illegals who came to the U.S. as children.

Isn't that discriminating against high-school graduates and dropouts who came to the U.S. as children?

This would indeed be a "Dream" come true for a growing number of well-educated American students who are finding it impossible to land a job in the U.S. because they're illegal aliens.

To correct the writer of this article:

They are NOT American students. They are illegal aliens who are in American schools.

It's getting so that the only way to achieve the American Dream is to not to be an American.

Orrin Hatch, everyone's favorite Hispandering GOP Big Tent Rino, aka "Teddie Kennedy's Friend". God what a useless hack politician.

illegals getting the education that "legal" Americans paid for

what a bunch of BULLSHIT!!!!!!!

these illegal students are not allowed to get financial aid of any sort ZERO NOTHING. I graduated in a class of 65 and two girls out of my class were pregrant, four already had small babies-ALL AMERICAN CITIZENS BY THE WAY- if Americans are getting dumber it's not because the "illegals" are taking their education it is because they simply choose to waste their future case in point the four moms and two moms to be in my graduating class.

Those who attend college for how long? Will permanent residency require a diploma? If joining the military, will permanent residency be contingent upon an honorable discharge?

A photocopy of any mail-order degree will suffice. </sarcasm>

what makes an American the fact that they were born here? What if you were raised all of you life here? What if your parents brought you here when you were five. You have no voice but yet you grow up only knowing America as your country..that is what the DREAM act is supporting those kids that came here when they were so young they had no choice to say, "Hey America is nice...lets go illegally."
It will also be beneficial for you as an american because you will know where the illegal immigrants are at and it's not like "poof" they become legal they go through a series of events. They do not become legal right away they first have to prove that they were upright citizens then they get a temporary green card then just about every six months they get a check up from ins(immigration) that they are doing what they are suppose to, not until 3 years later can they apply to be a resident and then five years after that can they apply to be a citizen.

I'd advise Orrin Hatch to allow 'em to go on welfare. That's what this is really all about, isn't it?
