County facing jail-cell shortage (Caption Time!)

Some female inmates at the Johnson County jail are sleeping on “boats” because not enough bunks are available for everyone. The jail in Franklin was expanded four years ago but is already near full capacity.

I did not realize this until I saw this picture, but obviously one of the dangers of obesity is that you will commit crimes and end up incarcerated.

Reminds me of the joke about the old Sea Captain who could tell the type of wood & where it was used on any boat - blindfolded, by smell alone.....better not repeat it here.

Dingys were confiscated at the jailer's station....he's got quite a collection....
