Olympia The Evergreen Freedom Foundation (EFF) today called on King County Executive Ron Sims to fire elections supervisor Dean Logan immediately.
In light of the information contained in Mr. Logans deposition in the election challenge court case, Sims should fire Logan immediately, Bob Williams, President of EFF said. It is time for somebody in King County to start following the law or paying a price for not doing so.
Sims needs to clean up his shop, change the culture of hiding problems and call for a criminal investigation, Williams said. Logan is copping out when he says he didnt have enough time to do what the Citizens Election Oversight Committee told him he should do, or what the Secretary of State advised him to do back in 2003. The Secretary of State warned Logan that King Countys problems could lead to an election challenge, and they certainly have done that.
Williams said Logan should be fired under terms outlined in RCW 29A.84.720. (See end of news release)
Williams also said Sims should ask for King County Prosecutor Norm Maleng to begin a criminal investigation on possible election fraud.
This has gone on long enough, Williams said. King County is becoming a laughingstock on Ron Sims watch.

Logan needs to be sweated....he is, potentially, a key witness against Sims and the Democratic machine in WA State. If he is fired, the Democrats will find a cubby-hole in some foreign country for him to lay low until this all blows over.
Yeah, I'm sure the 'Rats have already had a plan in place should this need arise; but, they really can't, it would show they're ALL guilty...so he could do a "Vince Foster" (w/ his friends) to save them all the trouble..
You're 100% correct. Sims is the objective here - he needs to spend tome real time in prison - along with Gregoire IMO.
Logan would be a good start and then Sims should resign.

And then we can work on the BIG resignation.
Yes and I can't wait to hear Gregoire's farewell speech. Then we can concentrate on voting out the dems and the republicans that turned on us this session.
