This poll is only an accurate reflection of the PEOPLE who visit the CNN website. 2/3rds are liberals and 1/3 are thinking Americans.

Some people just don't take the time to study the issues and seem to take the Rats and Unions position at face value.

Since when did the Repugs stop using the terms "private accounts" and "privatization" for their attempt to abolish SS?

Well I voted and got the exact same number of votes for and against and total number of votes. Wonder if this is a fixed poll.

The question should be, Do you favor President Bush's plan to save Social Security or do you favor the Democrats plan which is just stick your thumb up your ass and do nothing?

Everyone who understands the President's plan is for it. Choice is the optimum word here - all federal employees already have it.

Since when did the Repugs stop using the terms "private accounts" and "privatization" for their attempt to abolish SS? LOL, I love when the dems want to "demonize" the GOP plan to SAVE social security by referring to it as "privatizing" social security when all this tiny step does is to allow for personal savings accounts for 3% of the 15% total invested by employee/employer.
To be honest we would be "privatizing" only 20%.

CNN usually freezes its polls shortly after a "convincing" number is reached. Don't bother.

I look at the loaded question of this poll and think, "And they wonder why their ratings have dropped...."
