I and my Marine Corps relatives, friends and neighbors didn't go to war and some of us get our asses shot off fighting for this country to come back and be insulted by some marketing pandering clowns who want to change the name to Los Angeles, Mexico just to please some non-English speaking illegals who don't give a good damn about our flag, country, culture, language, laws or customs!

OK, everybody here knows that Clear Channel is one of the largest provider of outdoor advertising space (i.e. billboards) in the US, right? They rent the space to whoever wants to pay them for it, they are not responsible for the content of what's on their billboards......
Not that I'm a big defender of Clear Channel, or it's corporate policies/radio business, etc. They have conservative staions on the air, and they have liberal stations on the air. IMHO, I think the anger is misplaced here, it should be directed to the TV station that is advertised, not to Clear Channel itself.

We're having a similar problem in baseball between the Angels and the Dodgers. The Angels are referring to themselves as "The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim". Look at your sports page -- they're even listed as the LA Angels.
It's all so confusing!
Just think - if CA goes back to Mexico, the Democrats will never again win the presidency.
I have not been there, but have heard that LA has more Mexicans in certain areas than White Americans. The language barrier is prevelant. This invasion will in fact destroy the state. I live in the Northern section of California, north of Sacramento, I do not want my state destroyed. It is currently screwed up because of the ultra liberals in the bill mill known as Sacramento, but not yet destroyed.
If the Anaheim Angels are now the L.A. ( 45 miles from L.A. ) Angels.....then why can't L.A. be Los Angeles, Baja Sur?
Someone needs to paint out the Mexico, I mean after all they can grafitti up our walls, fences etc. why not give them a little of their own medicine?
When these billboards were first mentioned here on FreeRepublic, there was some discussion that the reference to Mexico could have been the work of vandals. One of these billboards is at Woodly and Sherman Way in Van Nuys. I drove by it yesterday and took a good, hard look at it. It's not the work of a vandal. It's part of the original billboard graphic.
Oh joy, now I can sell chicklets for 5 pesos and take up a career in begging on the streets, and move into a card board box. When I have saved up enough pesos, I can pay a coyote to sneak me across the border to Nevada so I can find work. California run by Mexico.. joy, joy, joy.
