To: One Proud Dad
I am particularly sensitive to this issue right now as we just lost a daughter @ 21 weeks last month.
I keep asking why my daughter when so many are unwanted?

Having lost a baby at 6 weeks, I feel for you. Let me assure you, though, that God is still in control. He will work through your pain to accomplish His will. It is at times like this that I hold on to Romans 8:28:And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. No, I'm not saying that your daughter's death was good, but if you trust that it will eventually work for good, on God's own timing, it will help you through this time. I've been there so I can speak. God's love will cover you and strengthen you in ways you cannot imagine. I like to call it "letting God put His arms around your shoulders".

O sweetie, I am so sorry. I know how you feel. It makes me so sad and then I get enraged that so many children aren't wanted, when I would give anything for a child of my own.

May God comfort you in your grief, as he comforted me when my son died.
