So, they don't realize that it is just an operating system, not a way of life (or is it?)
What cracks me up is how excited Linux users get when the market share goes up a tiny percent ... why? None of them own stock in it ... what's the excitement for?
It's all about the philosophy of software development that underlies Linux and free/open source software in general - ie, that the source code for software should be freely available to all. Any gain for Linux is a gain for the entire movement.
Basically, they're commies =)
