"Parents are urged to get in tune with their infant's body signals and hold babies over toilets, buckets and shrubbery or any other convenient receptacle when nature calls."
Well, we just need to plant more shrubbery in and outside the house. That'll make your greens greener! What a bunch of idiots. We got 2 grandsons right now in the diaper to training period. I can't imagine.
One lady claimed her daughter was potty trained at 3 months.
Yes this can be done. We raised 7 children the usual way but were finally convinced to try infant potty training with our eighth. Within 2 weeks our 3 month old daughter was virtually accident free (once or twice per week) and soon stayed dry through the night. We kept cloth panties on her so there wasn't a big mess initially. I had always thought that it was the parents who were trained but when a 5 month baby stays dry through the night and then lets it fly on signal over the commode, I'm convinced.
I wonder if their stoopid theory also covers older people with Depends????
And what are you supposed to do just stand there watching the baby all day looking for signs of an impending poop? Also what do you do with the bucket with the poop in it? Why you wash it out of course. So wheres the water savings. I guess we could go back to the days of merry old England when the Shite was thrown out into the streets and piled high on every corner.
I would like to see them try getting a daycare worker to go along with it! There is no way it would pass muster with the health department.
Oh Noooooo!
Water is a treasured resource. . .and detergent damages the ecological balance of our rivers/streams and oceans. . .and non-detergent detergent simply overburden those resources. . .and 'washing diapers' still require water/electricity. . .and create profits for greedy corporate interests.
No. . .diaperless is the only answer; just ask the young Mothers of any Hutu tribe in Africa. . .
Do not think it is the weather, exclusively. . .that dictates the 'fresh air' approach. . .

Yup, and if they are really concerned about the detergents, they can choose from a whole range of "organic" soaps now available. If they are concerned about the energy costs of doing laundry, they can do it by hand.
Okay I found it at the baby site--it's called practicing elimination communication with your child. I guess the article does mention that term.
Yes, while we enjoy watching them poop into buckets.
My wife and I are expecting twin girls this summer. We already have 2500 diaper stockpiled. And as for this suggestion, NO WAY IN HECK!
I'm looking to patent a version of this here in the U.S. -- I'll call it the "@ss-Hole" brand of children's clothing.
I've got plans for an adult version, too.
HOLY CRAP!
Geez...I wonder why all the influenza viruses originate in Asia? /sarc
The average estimated diaper consumption for a set of health twins is approximately 700 a month. We got them on sell.
Hope they're in different sizes. My first son was in size-large Pampers at age 4 months. What an eater!
As Triumph would say, "This is a stupid idea, for me to poop on!"
Maybe the kids can share the cat's litter box.
Until they ban kitty litter...
Yes we have premie, size 1 2 and 3.
I'd go for it only if you could teach the infants to recognize one of these whackos, and then teach him/her how to throw accurately.
