RABID radio host Michael Savage is whining that he has been banned from the Fox News Channel after he dissed Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity.
The controversial conservative — who was fired by MSNBC in 2003 after referring to a caller to his show as "a sodomite" who should "get AIDS and die" — recently burned more bridges by calling O'Reilly a "Leper-Con who poses as a conservative" and Hannity "another Republican bootlicker who began as a Rush [Limbaugh] understudy" on his "Savage Nation" radio show.
Savage claims that he's been bumped off four scheduled appearances on Fox News Channel in the wake of his caustic comments.
"These two are now acting the way the mainstream media has been acting for decades, thinking they are the gatekeepers of who shall be heard in the conservative world," Savage sputtered in a statement.
"Both are jealous of my audience and are trying to silence me because they do not want the competition."

I've listened to Savage for ten years. Rarely missed hearing the full three hours. That's a good assessment.
Too many Americans apparently view membership in the clique as the only mark of success. Go along, get along. Join or get lost.
Savage entered talk radio as a way to get his concerns about ILLEGAL immigrant disease carriers past the information gatekeepers.
Prop 187 had just passed by sixty percent but was being held captive in federal court. The Republican Party "clique" was running away from it as fast as it could.
Screw sixty percent of the Califormia voters, it's for the Party! Well, things have changed but Savage is the same today as he was ten years ago. He's ahead of the clique most of the time.
If Hannity's IQ was anywhere in excess of ~100, his show would be a little more original and his interviewing skills would be MUCH better.
Bingo! That's why his books sell and his radio show works for huge numbers of Americans.
He would never pass the Rats' scrutiny for a UN delegate. Shirley Temple made it but no way could Savage make it. Good.
Borders, Language, Culture, - is he wrong? Do you hear Rush or Hannity even coming close to telling the truth about almost anything? No. They would rather talk about the RATS day after day after day. I will commend Hannity on his recent immigration segments.

The Shirley Temple approach to confronting the left is over. It's been his oft stated message from the beginning, give it back to them with both barrels -- and a flamethrower.
Hannity tries too hard to be liked by everyone as if he was running for the title of Mr. Congeniality.
Hannity gets on my nerves by constantly fishing for compliments AND fishing for people suggesting he run for high public office.

I'll turn it off when he slips into schoolboy suggestive sex talk -- and frankly, I would never attend any of his live performances for that reason. IMO few comedians can do sex jokes well. He is not one of them.
But looking at the balance sheet complied over the past ten years of listening three hours a day he is overwhelmingly positive.
Love Savage. Hannity and O'Reilly are peas of a pod. Glenn Beck in the morning and Rush in the afternoon. Hannity and O'Reilly are poseurs. The on/off button works for all if need be.

Both Bell and Norry make it clear that they let guests say what they feel. Rarely do they interfere. They do not themselves stray too far.
Also, they often have legitimate scientists as guests and professionals like Jayna Davis. Those shows are outstanding.
Mr. Norry got pretty boring with his Bush-bashing guests prior to the election and continues his on-going obsession with alleged wrong doing by Halliburton. Nary a Norry word about Sen Feinstein and husband Richard Blum's billion-dollar DoD contracting company URS Corp.
I don't mean to start an dispute but as someone who's listened to radio talk since the 1940's IMO both Mr. Bell and Mr. Norry are among the best radio personalities I've heard. The listener is advised to make his own decision about guests.
Laura Ingraham's show is the best for humor and provides everything else the others offer on current events. One of the best I've heard in over fifty years of listening IMO. Old time radio humor sometimes.
That's lame and way off the mark Gramma. Pick up his book, he is very insightful when it comes to dealing with the Islamofascist threat and reminding people about it's history; and I don't mean in terms of just a couple of decades. He goes way back. He is to LIEberalism what Ronald Reagan was to Communism when he thrashes the enemy within as he exposes the libs for undermining our battle against Islamofascism and America's enemies abroad.
I don't know why you two are even on FreeRepublic, this is not a fashion show or a celebrity journal you rookies.

This guy has a point. The problem is, he is too much like O'Reilly and a parody of Hannity.
It is time that some intelligent person like Rush Limbaugh is brought to Fox. I think Ailes is ailing.
Yeah, but most radio hosts occasionally touch on their real lives. And sometimes Laura's stories are hilarious. But-Monkeys, the Deankey, etc. Laura and Lee have come up with some side-splitting bits.
I've never liked Rush's celebrity golf soliloquies. But then I'm no golfer.
