Correcta-moondo, sir.
The "blogosphere" (of which forums such as ours are a subset) will keep these important stories/scandals alive and kicking.
I'm guessing that Hillary would try to shut down F.R. if she ever gets elected queen.
Nice post, BTW.
.
Great work, Doug.
It is amazing to me that a couple such as the Clintons who didn't have a pot to pee in could afford a big house in Westchester and home in Washington DC and no telling what else.
Before running for governor, he was sitting around with a group of his Arkansas pals at dinner and drinks. One of the people who was an insider and at the table that night, told me that Bill said something like -- Just think how many women I could get if I became governor.
"Traci Billingsley - spokeswoman for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. If Rosen sings, it will be Billingsley's job to report to the press where Hillary's next home will be."
If that would only happen.
Excellent work, Doug!
I think you are right.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.

A !keeper! as we follow this scandal. Thanks!
Burglar himself was probably responsible for that (along with his attorney).
In doing so, they were following Clinton spinner Lanny Davis' advice -- release bad news yourself, so you can keep it under control, and do it early. Especially, if it can be buried under a bigger news story (the 9/11 commission..."I question the timing, etc.").
In other words, Burglar's release could well have been at Clinton's advice...

U.S. Defends Sealing Charges Against Former Hillary Rodham Clinton Aide David Rosen

U.S. Defends Sealing Charges Against Former Clinton Aide

Published: March 2, 2005
Correction Appended
Federal prosecutors are battling attempts to dismiss their criminal case against Hillary Rodham Clinton's former fund-raising director, claiming in a court motion that they kept the indictment of him secret for more than a year to protect the identity of a witness cooperating in a separate investigation.
The defendant, David Rosen, is charged with failing to report in-kind contributions and producing a false invoice in connection with an Aug. 12, 2000, fund-raiser for Mrs. Clinton, according to an indictment unsealed in January. He has pleaded not guilty.
The government's motion, filed in federal court in Los Angeles on Monday, was in response to papers filed in February by Mr. Rosen's lawyer arguing that the case should be dismissed because the government had no justifiable reason for sealing the indictment until January and because it had erroneously brought the charges in California rather than in Washington, where the campaign finance reports were filed with the Federal Election Commission.
The papers also said that Mr. Rosen's indictment cited a law that applies to false statements made to a government agency, and the F.E.C. is not one.
Paul Mark Sandler, Mr. Rosen's lawyer, said yesterday, "We've received the government's replies and we're reviewing them closely."
Bryan Sierra, a spokesman for the Department of Justice, would not comment on the case.
The government's motion gave little indication of the nature of the other investigation or the identity of the witness. One cause for the delay may have been efforts to reach an agreement with an organizer of the fund-raiser, Peter Paul, to be a witness in the case. Mr. Paul's role would be complicated by stock fraud charges pending against him in connection with Stan Lee Media, a failed Internet company that he co-founded.
Mr. Paul's lawyer, Thomas J. Fitton, said only that his client had been cooperating fully with the government since March 2001 but that the government had not decided whether he would be a witness in the case.
Part of this indecision may stem from tension between the United States attorney's office for the Eastern District of New York, which is pursuing a conviction against Mr. Paul, and the Washington office of the Justice Department, which is leading the case against Mr. Rosen.
"If this was being handled just by the Washington office, there would be an agreement by now," said a person involved in Mr. Paul's case who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the negotiations with the Justice Department.
Judge A. Howard Matz of Federal District Court will hear arguments to dismiss the case against Mr. Rosen on March 7. The trial is set for May 3.
Correction: March 3, 2005, Thursday:
An article yesterday about a motion filed in the federal government's case against David Rosen, a former fund-raising director for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, misstated the occupation of Thomas J. Fitton, who is advising a potential witness. He is the president of Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group; he is not a lawyer.
(the case is not set for May, I presume still in L.A.)
There must be a scandal somewhere close since Susan is in town. Or maybe she is getting ready to do an interview with one of her media friends again. I know her brother is some kind of administrator in a local CHURCH. I remember they all were defending her and Clinton when the Clinton/Monica scandal started. I couldn't believe a church would put themselves in that position. Live and learn. That is the same church that had a *hit fit about my business putting HALLOWEEN decorations in our window. PUKE!
Yep, the trial is scheduled for L.A. on May 3. Each of the four counts has a max 5 years in prison and 250K fine.
Susan was held in Cybil Brand in L.A. I don't know if she ever received them, but I sent her several obnoxious limericks on post cards. I've done the same to O.J. and The Rapist. Oh well, I hope someone enjoyed them.
"But in this case, she denies knowledge of what her campaign finance chief was doing."
Just like her "do not recalls" of her billing records, FBI Files, cattle futures, and cash filled envelopes passed to her and all of Bill's bimbo eruptions.
Also, there is a guy who throws like a girl who has an interest in sinking her so that 2008 is open for him.
I spoke with Dave Schippers a few days ago. He thought it was at least very interesting that there has been a guy hanging around with a wire for a few years. There are two witnesses and documents. Besides filing an initial report in which he lied, Rosen filed an amended one in which he lied. If Rosen thinks he is going down, will he be a sucker and just take the fall? That is the mystery question. Meanwhile, Sandler is trying to get the case to D.C. They will certainly get a more favorable jury pool there, although an L.A. jury isn't chopped liver.
I beg your pardon .. Presidents Bush are not giving Clinton any "assistance".
