I agree re shot placement - the extra inch of barrel (as compared to a snubby) makes a lot of difference.

I think we have different era Bulldogs - IIRC, the company went of business, and was revived a few years ago. Mine is from the first era - it came with a one-piece wooden grip, but the original owner added an aftermarket grip. It's not rubber - closer to foam-rubber.

Thank you...it was awesome. I took first place in the revolver class...not bad for not shooting but one other time in 20 years!!
