neither is "temporary insanity" (influence of alcohol/drugs)
nor a hard life good defences-but in our corrupt and broken system the freakin' inmates are now in control of the assylum.

My eighteen year old son was brutally murdered six years ago tonight.

Dear Lord, how horrible. I don't know what to say except that I pray God comforts you and your family extra strong on this most terrible anniversary.

How horrible. I'm so sorry to read of the murder of your beloved son. I'm sure he was a wonderful and most promising 16 year-old.

Thank you for attending all those parole board hearings and keeping his killer away from the general population for years. The terrible thing is that we both fear that other families' hearts will be broken like yours was now that the animal has been released. The judicial system is broken.

Hi folks. I am new to this and not sure how it goes but after reading this article had to respond. After reading about Jessica and Sarah in Florida I have to say whoever wrote this article has some good points. I do agree with not using prison inmate justice. I think that is wrong when we have to depend on others to carry out what our lawmakers are afraid to do. I hope these tragedies bring about some changes in our system so that these predators are not allowed out amongst our children.

My thoughts are with you and all of us..Thank you for your reply..I just returned from the cemetery with my other son.. We not only bury our loved ones so sadly taken away, but also cover our rage and continue with life.. The reminders emerge from personal thoughts or news reports and our focus is directed again at the useless unjustice system that we must replace.. Enjoy the Springtime and continue the fight...

Fighting the injustice system has become a way of life now. Even after 16 years I still cry every time I go to the cemetery. I buried my husband on election day. So going to the cemetery is doubley painful.

So many of our Loved Ones died needlessly, simply because our government is to cheap to incarcerate criminals for their full sentences. While they spend untold billions on garbage like ball stadiums or multi-million dollar fountains in parks.
