Laughlin River Run lures growing number of female bikers
By RICHARD LAKE REVIEW-JOURNAL
LAUGHLIN -- It's Friday night, and a group of lesbian bikers clad in black leather and purple "colors" is cruising Laughlin's mile-long Strip.
All around them, other women are riding, too. Lots more than there used to be at the Laughlin River Run, one of the largest annual gatherings of bikers in the country

"and a group of lesbian bikers "
--> Quote from the article above, "Dikes with Bikes" :)
Hubby's building me my own trike just for kicks next winter but I'll always be happiest with my legs wrapped around his hips....:)
I hear there's a special Corbin seat.
Wife and I both ride. Its nice at times to have her ride behind me, but for going places I really prefer that she has her own bike. We did Gettysburg and the Flt 93 Memorial last summer. This summer its Nova Scotia.
Guess I gotta tell the ol lady and all her friends that they'll all just a pack of lesbos. According to this writer anyway.
I think I'll tell her over the phone, from the bar, after a few. Think that's safer?
not to mention that most of them are american express riders. New clothes, new bike, no tools and a trailer.
*Moi*?
Sirruh, I have *no* idea to what you are referring.
[bats eyelashes innocently]
Ride, SallyMander, ride........
plugh-ughly
Many women ride bikes around here and they are not lesbian.
I ride when I can get a friend to loan me theirs for a spin through the country. Very relaxing and liberating.
Except when my brother would put be on the back of his, ride out into the pasture and tease the bull. Once he slowed down slow enough for the enraged animial to sling snot all down my back. I thought that was close enough.
Half of them are tiny women, too.
Years ago I had a Triumph Bonneville that I sold to get paneling for the living room....LOL!
Clothes aplenty available for practically forever. Buy men size's in small or whatever fits you.
Boot conversion size charts are everywhere.
My fave boots are my wicked "Mad Max" Doc Martens 3 buckle black leather motocross jobs.
[UK mens 8/US women's 9]
Got 'em off of eBay for a song.
My next best are Caterpillar black Nubuck 20 hole knee-high lacers.
The leather pants I'm wearing in my photo are men's waist size 26 and they fit like a glove.
[Perhaps I "adapted" so easily because I don't require "roses and unicorns" all over my leathers]....:)
When hubby builds mine he's doing one like he did for a friend of ours only with narrower rear fenders and tires so the trike will be more in proportion to my small size.
The only difference is that he'll be modifying some things to accomodate the quad-CD stereo I *must* have to be completely happy....:)
I suspect the lesbian faction is just trying to "validate themselves".....again.
