from the website:

While artists such as Toby Keith, Darrel Worley and Charlie Daniels have recorded great patriotic songs no artist has ever tackled the issues addressed by The Right Brothers. Topics on their albums include: the abortion debate, illegal immigration, taxation, Ronald Reagan, the melting-pot (or lack thereof), America’s right to defend herself regardless of what the rest of the world thinks, appreciation for our brave soldiers (past and present), political apathy, and more. The Right Brothers are in tune with today’s political issues and that is reflected in every word they write.

Nashville, TN They've been professional songwriters here for 15 years or so. They started writing the conservative stuff after one of them got sick of the music business and quit to concentrate on his own business. He kept writing, only about stuff he cared about. Conservative politics. They've got clips of all of the songs off of their two CD's on their web site. They also have a video for I Want To Live

Bookmarking. I am a lyricist and a poet. But I can't write music even though the tunes are in my head. I amuse myself writing parodies and traditional blues style songs that mostly relate to threads posted on FR. My serious stuff I don't post. Here are 14 News Blues songs I've written lately.

Yes. I had borrowed the Hank Williams Box set from a friend when I first signed up and I was on a big Hank kick. I wouldn't call myself a country fan per se but certain artists I like. I can listen to Hank most any time. I like the honesty of the dark stuff like Lost Highway, Six More Miles, etc...

They called this morning from the shuttle going to their hotel and said as the shuttle was pulling out of the terminal the shuttle cut off Al Sharpton's car. They were hoping it was a good omen. Keep your fingers crossed.

Well, good news and bad news. The bad news is they waited in the green room for 2 hours and got bumped. Good news is they want them to come back and are trying to work out another date. Hopefully memorial day.
