John McCain (R-MSM) stays his flakey self. This may cost him an appearance on Hardball.

Because he shows some party loyalty once, even though he should be showing it all the time, we should praise him?
John McCain decided to do what he's supposed to do today. Yay.

Sounds like Mcllame is taking the advice I offered just yesterday. In order to win a Presidential primary he needs to EMBRACE conservative goals (like telling it like it is at the U.N.)among other things.

Yes, after a couple of weeks without his face spouting on TV, he'll say something stupid to get back on.

Expect McCain to make attempts at positioning himself on the right over the next couple years.
To: meandog
Saying one decent thing a year doesn't quite cut it--especially when he went on National TV the other night and said unequivically that he would vote AGAINST the GOP over the filibuster crap---
Nope, sorry meandog, I can't give this one to you completely.

"Take that McCain-hating freepers."
Now I'm really worried. Maybe McCain knows that Bolton's nomination will never be reported out of committee so McCain can make a supportive speech with no consequences.

Can a man be a war-hero and still be a jerk!
Yes! And I'm not talking about John Kerry.

MeCain is alway about MeCain!
To: meandog
I'm glad to hear this, but it in no way builds confidence in him. He came out swinging against the Swifties, then also said he thought John Kerry would make a good President.
Pretty hard to redeem himself for those, amongst other things.

Well, dog my cats!
McPain must either be going on a two-week junket to a remote Tibetan mountain.....or he hasn't been invited to Teddy's divorce party.

I'm reminded of a story about an insane pig and a nut.
Or is it a blind pig who is a nut?

Who does MeCain stand with regarding filibustering judicial nominations?
He stands with the Democrats does he not?
