LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. Detectives are investigating a 9-year-old boy's allegations that his mother videotaped him being raped by a man, then sold or gave away the tape.
The Broward County Sheriff's Office is looking into a formal complaint that the boy was raped at least five times between July and October, spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright said. Detectives are searching for the tape, she said.
The man, Kevin Jerome Bynes, 27, of Lauderdale Lakes, was arrested Tuesday on five counts of sexual battery on a child under 12. He was being held without bond in the Broward County Jail.
"The victim stated that Coleman-Wright said Friday.
Bynes' arrest affidavit states that the boy's older sister told detectives that she saw Bynes enter her brother's bedroom and that she believed her brother was being assaulted. He has denied the charges.

What is it with Florida and pedophiles?
Two ropes and a tall oak tree are the solution.
How can a mother not only allow this to happen, but participate? Makes me ill....
I wish I knew. Something tells me our state's "justice system" is broken.
"Something tells me our state's "justice system" is broken."
Something tells me we live in a terribly fallen world.
If this is true, may God judge this "mother" even more harshly than the homosexual attackers.
Good grief! FL like Seattle needs to be dumped into the ocean to clear away the accumulated sewage.
My guess would be drug addiction.
I agree with your guess.
It seem that a undeniable pattern is developing in Florida, especially in Broward county: Indicating that the threat of too much exposure of your epidermis to the sun, ain't sh*t compared to what it does to your brain cells.
Is there something in the water down there in Florida?
"How can a mother not only allow this to happen, but participate? Makes me ill...."
-It just goes to show you the lengths some welfare mothers will go to, in order to avoid returning to or even entering the workforce.
"My guess would be drug addiction."

More about this story from the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel website:
Bynes' arrest affidavit states that the boy's older sister told detectives that she saw Bynes enter her brother's bedroom and that she believed her brother was being assaulted. He has denied the charges.
Bynes has violated his probation on false imprisonment charges out of Leon County, the sheriff's office said.
The boy's 29-year-old mother, who was not identified by the Sheriff's Office on Thursday, has been jailed since Oct. 18 on charges stemming from an aggravated battery charge in an unrelated case. She also is denying the allegations that she videotaped her son being raped, Coleman-Wright said. The case is still under investigation. The boy has been placed with relatives, she said.

>>his mother videotaped him being raped by a man, then sold or gave away the tape.
Something like this happened a few months back in Salem, MA where a mother basically pimped her daughter so pedophiles could rape and videotape her. In exchange for drugs for Mom.
Yeah, I haven't seen meth abuse in person, but I've seen some pretty good documentaries. That stuff really destroys people. And it is apparantly very addictive. I could see that. You'd think Child protective services or whatever would have been involved already. I didn't read the whole story.
All I know is thank God, I left Florida years ago for Texas.

I'm not an expert, but you have the main idea.
Anybody that has some quality time, with a meth user, cannot avoid the truth.
This substance takes a powerful, and dangerous hold on people.
And contrary to drug apologists, much of the danger is to others. Physical assault, weapons, vehicles, etc.
Can do permanent brain damage in a short time.
