You've picked your own version of reality, Fester. I only hope there are enough clear thinking people in the conservative political side to avoid any kind of consensus along your way of thinking.
I really don't care what people think, as long as they keep it in their own bedrooms. But when they come out and proclaim "we're conservatives, and we're here to trash the science curriculum and turn it into a study of what we read into the Bible", I'm not going to just keep my mouth shut.
I haven't heard such voices, but if this is any indication of your ability to interpret reality I can understand why you are so bent out of shape over nothing, and even more inept when it comes to squaring reality with evidence.
