Well written piece. IMHO, I'm not a Catholic and am tired of all these people of other denominations and faiths lamenting this choice of Pope. If your not Catholic, MYODB!
That should be worth about two-cents.

Most moving article. Yes, the MSM is doing its best to ensure that the "average Joe and Jane" will become indoctrinated by contempt for the new Pope.

Sixty Pesos. I call. Didn't take them very long before the flaming started right where it left off...

If your not Catholic, MYODB!

If your not Catholic, May Your Otter Die Bleeding? That's not very nice.

But, I DON'T hear a lot of people from other faiths -- atleast not the leadersof other faiths -- lamenting this choice. Daily I hear Jews, Muslims, Protestants praising this man and saying that they are looking forward to his reign with great hope.

What I DO hear, occasionally, isdisaffected Catholics (who haven't darkened a church door in years, most likely) grumbling about this choice and putting death wishes on him. The MSM goes to great lengths to round up the grumblers and to put a microphone, or interviewer, in front of their faces.

Trust me. The vast majority of Catholics welcome Benedict XVI and rejoiced in his election.

What does the "D" stand for???

I like the new Pope, but as a non-Catholic, I've stayed out of the discussions.

I'm not catholic either. And too am tired of the trashing of this new pope. OTOH, it's ridiculous for Noonan to hyperventilate about what his ascension means. I think she needs to relax, take a deep breath and avoid too much God talk. After all, she's on the editorial page of the WSJ, not the religion page. </sarcasm>
