Soros says be patient

”George Soros told a carefully vetted gathering of 70 likeminded millionaires and billionaires last weekend that they must be patient if they want to realize long-term political and ideological yields from an expected massive investment in “startup” progressive think tanks.”

”The Scottsdale, Ariz., meeting, called to start the process of building an ideas production line for liberal politicians, began what organizers hope will be a long dialogue with the “partners,” many from the high-tech industry. Participants have begun to refer to themselves as the Phoenix Group.”

“One source at the DNC with direct knowledge of the agenda said that the Phoenix Group had three specific goals at the outset. It wants to create liberal think tanks, training camps for young progressives and media centers.”

What: The Phoenix Group.

Mission: Building an ideas production line for liberal politicians.

Goals: 1) Create liberal think tanks, 2) training camps for young progressives, and 3) media centers.

To keep all this Soros crap in perspective, think about how Henry Ford would react to how a lot of the money in the Ford Foundation is spent. With Soros we have a detestable man doing his thing in public now. Most of his activities receive
a lot of publicity and his taint goes with his money.

As long as they verify that what he does is legal, so be it.

If it isn't kosher, have the guts to prosecute him.

I have no problem with Soros throwing his money down another rathole. He and his other millionaire "traitors to their class" pals are just spinning their wheels trying to get "from each according to his means, to each according to his needs" to sound fresh and new. Well, I guess a start would be "from each according to his/her/neither/both/don't identify means, to each according to his/her/neither/both/don't identify needs."

Soros lost $23 million trying to defeat Bush.
So how attractive can investing in his political causes really be?

These people are not normal.

One of the sites mentioned is:

http://mediamatters.org/

At the risk of having this post shuttled off to Bloggers & Personal, MMFA employs the very popular blogger Duncan B. Black, aka Atrios: atrios.blogspot.com

They also employ the less popular Oliver "ODuhhhb" Willis: oliverwillis.com

You have to register to leave comments at MMFA, but AFAIK they don't just delete negative comments.
