Aren't the majority of think tanks in D.C. liberal in nature? Including some that claim to be non-political? And the fact that this group had to meet in private doesn't exactly make it sound like it was on the up-and-up. It literally sounds like they are plotting to take over the country.

Soros is EEEEVVILLLL, and, I hate to say, one of the best arguments for getting money out of politics.

We spent less money at all levels of politics in 2004 than is spent on laundry detergent advertising. In politics, money equals speech to a certain extent, and we have no business restricting it.

We should concentrate on having complete transparency in donations: Donate all you want, when you want to who you want, but there will be a record easily accessible on the Internet of what you gave.

And as for Soros, I dare say the publicity about his donations did more to get votes for Bush than the money itself did to get votes for Kerry. Transparency rocks.
