Curious and curiouser.
I wonder if Mossad had anything to do with this "mysterious" sinking. If so...good for them.

Egyptian & Syrian crew flying a North Korean flag located off the coast of Israel....now that's quite odd!

"The Navy helped rescue at least three survivors from a merchant vessel that was apparently flying a North Korean flag that sunk mysteriously off the northern Israeli coast"
Gosh, even Debka would shy from making up a story like this.

A Syrian crew flying a NK flag sinks off of Israel?
Ok. If you believe that this was an accident, please Freepmail me, as I have an interesting business proposition from Nigeria to discuss with you.

Sounds like the only way to see what could be in the ship is to sink it? Bet a mini sub is down there right now :)
To: So Cal Rocket
Per map "Naharia" is just five miles from the Lebanese border, so perhaps the ship was travelling to/from Lebanon?

It's bizarre about the flag.
I wonder if it was misidentified by an observer. A Panamaian flag, common flag of convenience, has similar colors and stars.

"Military sources said that word of the incident first reached Israel when the captain of the merchant ship Andora, which had left from Ashdod earlier Wednesday, radioed in that a ship was sinking 56 nautical miles from Nahariya."
The message went as follows: "Hello Israeli Navy? Touché. Now come and fish myself and the rest of my crew out of the water please."

Israel to Hezbollah: "No free missiles from North Korea to you."
I'm pretty sure Israel is tired of the terrorist naval supply chain.
