No amount of firearms could have prevented the Holocaust, unless one had been used to assassinate Hitler. The Nazis were heavily armed with guns and hatred, inspired by Hitler, and the Jewish people were decentralized private citizens. The twelve million innocents never had a chance against Hitler, guns or not.

12 million armed people is no deterent? That is more than the whole of the German Armies combined! By almost 2:1.

No. The first thing they were missing was a spirit of resistance. They went along to get along, and they were slaughtered for it. Just like we will be if we don't stand up to governmental abuses of our Rights. Starting with the Second Amendment.

You are incorrect. Welcome to FR.

Wrong. See the results of the Warsaw Ghetto fighting. They delayed the liquidation of the Warsaw Jews for *months*. If there had been more people with guns, they could have stood off the Germans indefinitely. Their number one problem was that they didn't have enough weapons or ammo.

You can also look at the siege of Stalingrad to see what determined men with rifles can do to a mechanized army.

The JPFO doesn't seem to agree with that analysis. If every time brownshirts had gone on one of their midnight trips to haul somebody off several of them had been killed, the whole thing could have been derailed.

You are right, so let’s take your logic to its inevitable conclusion:
"I weight 220lbs and have a black belt. We are alone. Why don’t you lay down, open your legs wide and let me do my thing….. oh, If you’re male, turn around. Don’t worry it wont hurt that bad. You’ll know when I am done when I spit in your face."

You Sir, enable people to be victims with your attitude.

Some would think it better to die fighting than be herded off to be worked to death. Obviously you think otherwise.

Of course, then it wouldn't have been called the Holocaust, it would have been the modern Masada.

You can always take one with you

The point is to raise the cost of oppression.
