They so don't get it. Being a Catholic is not about "you" it's about "Christ". So much for humility and perspective - these people seriously lack both.

--They so don't get it. Being a Catholic is not about "you" it's about "Christ"--

Oh, oh, that's so much in line with the concept of Benedict!

--Relativism, which is letting oneself be tossed and "swept along by every wind of teaching", looks like the only attitude (acceptable) to today's standards. We are moving towards a dictatorship of relativism which does not recognize anything as for certain and which has as its highest goal one's own ego and one's own desires.--

Man is not the measure, God is.

Agreed. I also think that large groups of leftists want to join the church to "modernize it".

What I mean to say is that I think that large groups of people are trying to "postmodernize" the Church, making the doctrine "relative" to our times. As you said, they just don't get it. You are right, but they do get the strategy to infiltrate structures from the inside to make attempted changes to the institution.

As I mentioned, I am not a practicing Catholic but the only thing I want from the Church is to adhere to the message of Christ. IMHO, there can be no compromise in this and I am sure you feel the same way.

The new Pope is a good choice and notice how the smear campaign has already started against him. I have heard him called a former Nazi twice today.

Damn, why can't they just give it a rest for a few days.

Arioch7 out.
