During the 80's I never missed a Tyson fight. My friend, having a cable descrambler helped save us a lot of money :)
I was at a keg party at U-mass during the Douglas fight and i figured I'd rather hang near the beer in the basement then bother watching Tyson destroy another opponent in 90 seconds. My mistake! Shortly after some kid came running downstairs screaming "Tyson lost!" nobody believed him and they threw empty keg cups at him.
I just caught that fight last week on ESPN classics. What a sad end to a great fighter.
I still believe his wife had him on anti-depressants or something at the time. he seemed pretty lethargic.
