Bush Demands From Syria To Shut Down Hezbollah
Israel National News ^ | Apr 19, '05

American President George W. Bush Tuesday night demanded that Syria not only withdraw from Lebanon but also shut down Hezbollah terrorist operations.

Hezbollah "is a dangerous organization," the President said on a Lebanese broadcast. "Syria has got to do its part about making sure that Hezbollah doesn't receive support from Syria," Bush added.

Hezbollah has been increasing its strength the past several years, and its attacks on Israeli soldiers succeeded in forcing former Prime Minister Ehud Barak to suddenly withdrew IDF troops from the southern Lebanon "security zone" that helped protect the Galilee.

Since the withdrawal, many of the Hezbollah tactics and weapons have found their way across the Syrian-controlled Lebanese border into Israel, particularly in the Jenin, Tulkarm and Shechem areas of Samaria. Both Israel and the United States have accused Syria of financing and encouraging the Hezbollah terrorists.

The American government blames the terrorist group for several attacks on U.S. soldiers, including bombings on the American embassy in Beirut and on Marine barracks.

Hezbollah also was behind the attack on the Israeli embassy and Jewish cultural center in two separate bombings in Argentina several years ago.

Agreed! Finally! Now just think if he applied the same degree of fortitude to our own border situation....it would read something like this:

American President George W. Bush Tuesday night demanded that Mexico not only withdraw all its illegal trespassing invading citizens from the United State of America, but also shut down it La Raza and Reconquista terrorist operations.

Bush Demands From Syria To Shut Down Hezbollah

Hey, why not to order Syria, Iran and others sponsors/sympatisers to "shut down" the insurgency in Iraq? It would make life easier for America.

Seriously, Syria simply is not capable to "shut down" Hezbollah, not any more that Israel could during the occupation of southern Lebanon. Sooner Hezbollah will destabilize Syria and Lebanon. And witdrawing Syrian troops and agents will make any impact on Hezbollah impossible.

At present there is no civil war in Lebanon and there is no war between Hezbollah and Israel. Syrian occupation helped.

Well I guess we can all dream can't we? But as you know, Bush would never do anything of the sort. He only cares about the sovereignty and borders of other countries, not ours. Protecting our borders and ending illegal immigration is not part of his Open Borders FTAA agenda. Bush has much more in common with the parties referenced above than he does with the American People. As if he hasn't proven this over and over again.
