Because in order to get traction in conservtive circles, she's gotta stop making references that the coverup continues with President Bush.

Clinton isn't President anymore. If Jayna Davis is correct about Iraqi involvement in Ok City, then NOW it is hard to think of anyone who would be more responsible for the on-going coverup than President Bush.

Who would be your top choice?

You're arguing with the wrong guy on this. I'm simply reflecting the mood among conservatives. It is hard to get them to embrace something that is against the President. The White House has done a very sucessful job of painting anyone who doesn't support (meaning no criticism) the President as not supporting the troops. They have done a good job painting the President as the right man in the right place at the right time among evangelicals. Because of that divine implication, evangelicals (mainline not hardline) have a hard time drawing a line unless it is a clear reason to step away. Outright support of abortion rights would be about the only way to do that. The President and the White House has done a very good job of painting everything has changed since 9/11. So old conservative thinking hs become Bush conservative thinking.

Again watch as people like Doug and talk show hosts and producers will advise Jayna to soften or even eliminate criticism of the President in this matter when tieing it to the Bush White House do so in a way that only the error in the WH isthat there are remainders of the Clinton administration that is causing this to be overlooked in the administration. Her message will begin to be crafted if her message get legs.
