OK..here's what we know..Senate is in recess for the weekly party caucus luncheons. Supposed to resume at 2:15. on C-span 2.. The Foreign Relations committee is supposed to meet at 2:45 to vote on the Bolton nomination. Lugar has refused requests for a delay. Just before the Senate recessed, Reid objected to Frist's UC request for the Froeign Relations committee to meet today. Frist withdrew his request..

I've got this argument from freepers before, and I've never understood it. If a civil servant works with a Democrat and finds them honorable, what's wrong with contributing to them? Are we supposed to treat members of the opposite party as if they're from a different species?

After seeing the beating Lugar took today you can be sure Arlen will be Leahy's bitch when the judges start coming up.
This could also have been an across the bow shot at Frist regarding the nuclear option. Just occured to me.
