Powell is a petty piss pot, and is absolutely behind the Bolton opposition. Bush put Powell at State to reign them in, but they kissed his ass so well that he turned against Bush instead. Now, Powell knows that at least half the country would not vote to make him dog-catcher, and he is angry about it.
Powell hates anyone who can do a better job, be that Condi, Bolton or the dude who shines shoes in the lobby.
