Posted on 04/19/2005 11:07:48 AM PDT by ken5050
OK..here's what we know..Senate is in recess for the weekly party caucus luncheons. Supposed to resume at 2:15. on C-span 2.. The Foreign Relations committee is supposed to meet at 2:45 to vote on the Bolton nomination. Lugar has refused requests for a delay. Just before the Senate recessed, Reid objected to Frist's UC request for the Froeign Relations committee to meet today. Frist withdrew his request..

Well folks, its about to be 5pm and guess what?
No votes, no nothing. Just talk and spin and lies.
I think it is time to change my voter registration. I have not been this angry since the Raiders traded Marcus Allen.

President Bush needs senators he can depend on!And we have to be VERY CAREFUL to direct our fire on the right targets -- like Voinovich. It looks like Lugar got double-crossed (unless he was in on it).

I'm sick to my stomachSame here. I've been on record as saying Bolton was going to get voted out of committee easily despite the little ruffle of feathers now and again from the weasels on our side.
I am disgusted.

Biden: "Chairman, you make the timeframe. We will research this man. I will probably still vote against him and you will still vote for him."

He won't be approved on the floor, so why prolong the agony. We've already lost, why give the RATs more time to preen for the cameras?

He couldn't call the question until that rat-bastard Voinovich showed up. That is why Lugar let them talk so long. When he did show up, he screwed Lugar and now we have to back down.

EXACTLY -- it's that arsehole Biden and his moron friend Dodd. Lugar looks like a total fool. I am absolutely furious!!! I am coming to the conclusion that term limits are necessary to get some kind of government which is accountable TO THE PEOPLE and NOT "THE CLUB."
