KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A rabbi wearing a yarmulke and a man wearing swastikas got into a fight at Kansas City International Airport Sunday evening.
According to a police report, Rabbi David Fine, 36, of Overland Park, was in the KCI terminal when he commented to Steven T. Boswell, 30, of Olathe, about a large swastika logo on his shirt and his swastika necklace.
Fine told Boswell that he should be ashamed of himself, and Boswell responded by calling the rabbi inhuman, the police report stated.
The rabbi allegedly threw a cup of coffee in Boswell's face and punched him. Boswell told police he then repeatedly punched Fine in the head.
Both men were handcuffed and charged with disorderly conduct. They refused medical attention.
The responding officer said Fine had some small bumps on his head and Boswell had coffee stains on his clothing.
Both men are scheduled to appear in court on June 22.

Whew! Sorry about that! I just figured that with 40 million American abortions, some must be Jewish. I mean, most are, no doubt, Christians aborting their children. As you are Jewish, I'll take your word for it. I stand corrected, and retract any comments that implied any Jewish children have ever been aborted in America. My apologies to anyone I may have offended.

Jewish, pro-life...went to a Jewish school and attend shul and social Jewish events - never met a Jew that's had an abortion.
Don't judge all Jews by the actions of the secular ones in the media.

To those people who *want* Jews to look bad this will reinforce their belief. To some who were on the fence, this will move them. To others who had no doubts, there will be doubts.
This isn't just an average Jewish guy flittin' off at a putz, this is a Rabbi. To some of us who know, we realize that Rabbis can throw down on each other given the right circumstance, but to those who do not know this man's failing will represent all Jews the same way the failings of Jimmy Swaggart represented all Christians to some people.
Yes and maybe we can give some of them the Joseph Goebbels award? I am sure the late Nazi propaganda minister would be proud of some of the jew bashing on this thread.

I figure Jewish people have as many variations as any group of people. Some very religious, some atheistic, and everything in between. To be honest, I've never had a good Jewish radar, if you know what that means. But the Jewish people I've known, have always impressed me.

I might make sense to wait till more facts come out before judging the Rabbi's actions. He indicated he felt threatened. The Nazi was dropping a National Socialist Movement convention speaker off. He may or may not have had companions. The NSM is a prominent hate group. His t-shirt might have been somewhat innocuous, then again the official NSM T-Shirt (when they're not wearing brownshirts) has a large swastika with their name emblazoned above it. If that's the case, the Rabbi may well have known he was dealing with someone who wants him, an unhuman, if not dead, out of America. I would guess he knew about the convention. All this effects his perception of risk. We'll see how it turns out.

It is. Blacks had to prove the racists wrong. Jews have to prove the Nazis wrong. Americans have to prove France is wrong. And on and on.
It isn't fair, but we all know it's true. It's that dark aspect of human nature that is yet to be conquered.
