I got that point, and agree 100%. If the government was operating under the assumption that there was an "arsenal" (incorrectly I'm hearing), doesn't that necessitate them GOING to the compound to check it out.

Again, I'm not being a troll, just trying to go through this scenario.

serving a warrant (issued by a judge).

A warrant obtained by lying. The BATFags told the judge there were illegal drugs there. (that was completely fabricated from whole cloth, no one else ever alleged that there was illicit drug use there before or after) This lie was perpetrated in order to by-pass the Posse Comitatus Act and gain the assistance of the National Guard and their helicopters.
