Waco: The Inside Story
Exactly...
Presidential candidate for 2008.. Hillary Clinton.. Not some political has been of 12 years ago.. Republicans ((STILL)) allow democrats to get away with murder.. like in the Sandy Burglar affair.. and God knows what else.. NOT closeing the Mexican border serves to the benefit of democrats NOT the republican party in any possible way..
Oh! and those 900+ FBI files (maybe more) Hillary has in one of her computers somewhere MUST be paying off.. Wonder how much additional dirt that dirt bag(Hillary) has dug up.. prosecuteing Bubba for a blow job when serious felonius malfeance happened by BOTH of them.. might be called a "MIRACLE".. if blackmail is NOT considered..
Unless the real movers and shakers run BOTH PARTIES...
It was done under a Republican president. George Bush Sr. simply hated these people and totally approved of their murder.
I don't have any proof that he did but that is my reading after seeing his many comments, especially his supporting the Jack Booted Thugs, and resigning his NRA membership right at the most crucial time to help pass the assault weapon ban. He also banned the importation of many guns just on his whim.
That happened while Bush #1 was in office. 13 year old boy shot in the back while running away. Mother of three with her child in her arms shot in the head while holding the door open for her husband, who had just been shot in the shoulder.
All because of 1/8th inch of metal on a shotgun barrel and a court screwed up date for Weaver's appearance.
They convicted him of a very minor charge, something like failure to appear.
You said "Unless the real movers and shakers run BOTH PARTIES..."
Real careful there hosepipe, ya might want to stick around here for a while
As I remember, one Davidian, outside the premises on Raid-day, was shot as he tried to get in. His body hung on the fence and was eaten by dogs, until the FBI/BATF bull-dozed it down.
So much death over UnConstitutional laws.
Weavers over an eigth inch of metal.
A church full of Seventh Day Adventists over a two hundred dollar tax dispute.
But the killers got paid vacations and promotions, while those who were in command schmooze at funerals and memorial services.
Your tagline really nails it. Thanks.
They made the mistake of not bowing to Janet Reno's justice Dept. the way they were told to (and it was an imperial command, make no mistake, since Koresh could easily have been taken into custody in town rather than forcing the issues to a deadly end).
That is one thing which still burns me up. The two FBI guys in charge at Ruby Ridge, (can't recall their names off hand) both got reprimands for their actions.
I am a retired civil service employee and remember a guy getting a reprimand. It basically ends your career as far as promotions etc. Both of these guys got promoted within weeks of getting reprimands. The reprimands were clearly nothing but window dressing.
Congressman Sonny Bono breaks down during the Waco hearings, after seeing the photographs of the murdered children.
BTW, my tagline sums up what I think has been going on in Washington for a LONG time.
Sad, isn't it?
Thanks.
You're welcome. :)
Your tag line is the summation of eight years of posts and replies at FR.
I could only add, that the source of the M.A.D. is Chinese (and now other foreign) money in the pockets of all, from Starr to Clinton and everyone in between.
Everyone.
I'm sorry you find my views that Pubbies could do this too BS Mama.
Ruby Ridge took place in August 1992 when Bush the Elder was still POTUS and apparently the JBT mentality in the BATF was already institutional and preceded Clinton though admittedly he took it to new heights.
It was a retired GOP Senator from Missouri who softpedaled the enquiry into the Waco affair.
I agree that perhaps serious GOP leaders like Delay would hesitate to go nuclear on firearms confiscations but there will always been milquetoast GOPers to go along same as Dems. McCain probably would if he thought Russert would give him more hugs and kisses Sunday morning. I don't think Guliani has a big concept on firearms rights either. It's socially moderate to liberal Neos I worry about in the GOP who think guns are for rednecks. I don't think their plan of action would have been much different that the Toon's. I do think Ashcroft would have handled it far differently than Reno.
The GOP offers a better alternative arguably but no security per se from these abuses. In my view.
I vote and support (R) same as you and also feel they lack stones too frequently.
Actually, during the initial attack by the ATF, they didn't.
Aw come on, it's not that hard.
70% of the forum can do it.
But I can't either.
It's a gorgeous day, I think I'll go for a walk.
Enough of this for today.
Best.
