Interesting, I did know there is a minimum overall length but didn't know that was what Weaver was charged with. I do know he was found not guilty. I have the book somewhere by Gerry Spence who defended him.

OK, now I just concluded that Congressman Sonny Bono was "helped" into his fatal tree collision.
Only the naive believe in coincidence.
Seriously. Experienced skiers don't kiss trees and for two notable political figures to die that way in a short time always struck me as very odd.

To this day, I can not see Bill Clinton without feeling utter revulsionAnd ruthless Reno. "I cannot comment on current investigations," meaning 'I will cover up as many crimes as I want.'
I celebrated when she was defeated during the Democratic primary by an unknown moron. [The unknown moron was later sent into permanent oblivion by Jeb Bush]

Don't forget that the government tests to prove the video was faulty used different weapons and ammunition.

And the ATF agents that entered the window, and were killed inside, had all been on Clinton's protection detail during the campaign, according to Clinton himself.

If I remember correctly:
BATF killed some Davidian dogs before coming to the door the first day.
There was speculation that holes in the front door proved that BATF shot first. Curiously, the front door disappeared.
CS gas is not supposed to be used indoors. Yet, it was inserted into the Davidians' home on April 19th.
The bodies of the Davidians were supposed to be refrigerated. Curiously, the refrigeration failed and evidence was lost.

I have never been one to believe in conspiracy theories altough I have always enjoyed them because they are so darned interesting.
I will have to say tho that the whole Branch Davidian thing stinks to high heaven, from start to finish. A true low in the history of this country.

I thought the Secret Service was responsible for protecting both the POTUS and his opponent during an election. Sounds kind of fishy to me.

Actually, he was accused of shortening a stock too much. I had thought the issue was with the way the ATF measures barrel length (closed breach face to end of muzzle with no attachments). Some shotguns have the bolt project somewhat forward into the receiver and into the barrel, so an exterior measurement of the barrel, even when mounted to the receiver, will be longer than what the BATF considers to be the "barrel".

One should never forget just how ruthless a Rat-controlled Justice Department can be toward American citizens.Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Double Tap - Ruby Ridge was a terrible tragedy for the Weaver family, American rights and a precurser to Waco.
Bottomline, don't ever trust law enforcement. Never. Their duty is not to "protect and serve" the citizens of this Nation, but to enforce the law (even if the laws are unjust and in direct violation of the United State Constitution and Bill of Rights).
We as citizens must be viligant about protecting our rights. I am one who believes that we do have "enemies, both foreign and domestic" at work in our country. Unfortunately, many of them are in high offices and use their power abusively.

I'll NEVER forget it. To this day, I can not see Bill Clinton without feeling utter revulsion, and THIS, not Monica, is why.Waco is one of the reasons I despise Clinton. The other being his connection to the PRC and his allowing Bin Ladin to go free.

WITHOUT A WORD, NOT A MENTION OF WARRANTS, the BATFags open fire on the place, swinging their weapons back and forth like on an old tv war movie, just raking the house indiscriminately with fire.Just what kind of sick person would follow an order like that?

Tymesup:
You are correct. The BATF pulled up in there cattle trailers and pickup trucks and immediately shot the dogs that were tied up near the front door, puppies and all.
Then they made their bullhorn announcements and when the door was opened and Koresh told them that their were children and women inside the building and began to close the door, the BATF opened up with their weapon and the battle began.
Just another Sunday morning in the Texas Hill Country for the BATF - shootin' up a church congregation.

Remember Ruby Ridge? That all started over one eighth of an inch. A shotgun barrel had bee cut off and the feds claimed it was 1/8th of an inch too short. For that 1/8th inch the feds set out to ambush and kill a family. How brave they were to shoot a teenager in the back and his unarmed mother standing in an open doorway while she was holding an infant in her arms. These are facts that were documented in federal court. Where are the Murder Charges????? How many years would you get if you shot an unarmed woman standing in an open doorway, holding open the screen door while holding an infant? Her whole body was in plain view there was no way that she could have been concealing a weapon. Also documented in court is the facts that the feds lied about how the teenage boy was killed. The physical evidence did not match their story. He was shot in the back!!!!!!! Although the courts found that the feds were negligent in every aspect of this attack, had lied repeatedly under oath, had clearly executed an unarmed woman, and shot a teenager in the back while he was running away from them, NOT ONE PERSON WAS EVER PROSECUTED!!!!!!!!! These are the facts of Ruby ridge. Could it be that Waco was their attempt to change their image? More deaths so the feds and their political leaders could look good.I remember it. The 2nd Amendment was created specifically to stop the atrocities of Ruby Ridge and Waco. If shooting innocent people becomes the norm (It happened with Ruby Ridge and Waco) then I fear our our country's future.

Paul: In an age of "no-knock" entries by law enforcement, properly presenting an Arrest or Search Warrant, issued by a Judge, to the occupants of a home is a afterthought, not even important.
Law enforcement has no respect for the rights of a citizen, they only want to "enforce the law". If that means killing you in the process, so be it.
Just another day behind the badge.......

What still blows my mind is that our government murdered, in cold blood, scores of women and children, on LIVE TELEVISION, and the American public accepted it. That's when my eyes were opened for good.A shame that the public accepted it. If this sort of acceptance of government atrocities is the norm than our country is in serious trouble.
