I'm taking this to the Supreme Court.
I want to be the hip new Pope who gets all the chicks.

Will you put on weight, grow a beard, and sound peeved (in a stupid way) all the time?

Glory of the Olives - perhaps Benedict XVI is glorifying Benedict XV of Italy???

That "nun" this morning with the pink smoke had better watch out.

"Benedict: of the olive.
Malachy was right...again"
IIRC, Malachy said "glorious olivae" so perhaps he is destined for greatness too. I'm praying for it. Praise be to God.

YA-HOOOOOOOOO!
Ratzinger --- Benedict XVI ---- razor-sharp mind, solid on faith & morals, doctrine & liturgy, good and holy man!
St. Benedict = 1500 years ago, Father of Western monasticism, (monks historically guardians and custodians of Western civilization) patron saint of Europe.
EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT CHOICE!

I'm not catholic, but congratulations to all who are.

"If DU hates him, he's gotta be good!"
The DU will only appreciate a pope who turns out not to be a Catholic.

A German...Pope Benedict XVI......That's much better than calling himself Pope Adolpho I.

Does that make him a Benedictine Pope? No. There is a religious order called the Benedictines. Ratzinger is not a Benedictine.

Congratulations to my Roman Catholic friends.
Long live your Holy Father.
May he be both wise and courageous like his predecessor.
To: fatnotlazy
Actually the MSM will be very pleased. They will relish the opportunity to bash a "rigid" Pope. They were frankly sick of all the good will toward JPII.
To: sionnsar
have not been there since NOV 6th. Figger I didn't need to anymore...
