SYNOPSIS: PENN & TELLER: BULLSHIT!: THE BIBLE

Did Noah build an ark big enough to hold all those animals? Did Moses part the Red Sea? Did Jesus even exist? Penn and Teller take on the most sacred of sacred cows to show that the Bible is about as factual as the "National Enquirer."

I caught the last 1/2 of this and was so disgusted I'll never, ever go see them or support the venues that hire them!

More Christian Bashing!

What do you think of Penn & Teller?

I don't mind this as an article, but do we have to have this title?

It's more sacred than fragile. They're being blasphemous and that's very serious.

When people talk outside their area of expertise, they often end up saying something inconsequential or stupid.

You have a warped sense of humor!

I didn't take it as humor nor did they!

It's all been said and done before. In their vanity they think they're being original.

Disbelief is as old as salvation history. Some, like these two, flaunt it and wear it as a badge.

Pray for unbelievers but avoid the bash fests and all the acrimony which goes with them.

Bashing the Bible is old hat, not cutting edge. If they want 'the cutting edge', let's see them bash Mohamed and the Koran.

No, that would take some real courage. For the would-be glitterati, it's fashionable to bash Christianity. No guts required.

Blasphemy bothers deities; it shouldn't bother us.

Or let them bash affected attitudes of jaded, sophisticated world-weariness.

Has this aired yet? If not, I'd love to see it.

Didn't they used to go on "fishing trips" with Sigfried and Roy?

Then it's between them and God.

Christianity has stood the test of time with all manner of critics, trying desparately to disprove the Bible and more often times than not, failing to do so and failing miserably. Who cares what two lame, unfunny losers have to say about The Bible? Their opinion means nothing and their attacks on the Bible only show that THEY are the ones who are fragile.

I saw them in Las Vegas a few years back. They are hillarious and give a great show. Penn is politically in the same ballpark as the South Park guys. He doesn't like the right but he hates liberals.

BTW, don't blame Teller, he never said a word.

They would never even dare bash Islam or the Koran, only Christian bashing is the "in" thing to do, especially after Christians put President Bush over the top in 2004.

Christian bashing is all around, but our Faith is much stronger.

Just keep the Faith and the debris will be left in your wake.
