Since 9/11 I have been advocating that we ask -- then require -- them all to leave, and not allow any more in. We are being infiltrated by groups of people who hate us, envy our prosperity and have no concept of freedom, save when it allows them to take advantage of us.

I frankly don't think the Islam is capable of peaceful coexistence. Where it is the dominant religion, it maintains its dominance by coercion; where it is not, it obtains adherents through deception and manipulation.

The next time I'm on a flight and see a group of middle-eastern looking men running to the john in relays I guess I'll just get up and accidentally body-slam a couple of them against the bulkhead door. Or would that constitute profiling?

How ironic. I just posted an article/vanity where my comments had to do with this exact topic...from the posting "Feeling like a racist", I said:

Since 9/11 I think all of us have encountered situations where we felt uncomfortable with our surroundings and something just didn't 'feel' right.

Post 9/11 America is a unique balancing act between reason and instinct.

I won't say exactly where I live but it's in a city that has a rather large muslim faction. In fact, at my workplace (telecom is my field) I would say that at least 1/3 of the employees are of middle eastern descent.

Thinking back to post 9/11 tv and radio talk I seem to recall this guy that created that documentary in 1994 or 1995 "Jihad in America" for Frontline. I saw him on some show post 9/11 and he made some chilling sense. The fact that 9/11 hijackers infiltrated our society so quietly and without notice.

It immediately made me think of my surroundings. But therein lies the dichotomy; I'm a Libertarian/Conservative with strong beliefs in individual liberty and the pursuit of that by coming here. I also am a logic based person whose instinct is telling him something is up with the influx of people of 'middle eastern descent'.

I don't know exactly what is up.. but it's kind of like seeing a wreck about to happen on the road and being helpless to stop it. You can scream and try and devert attention but by screaming the attention will fall solely on you while the wreck will happen behind all of the turned heads.

This woman sounds like a better spy than most of the intelligence agents we have employed in the federal government. The enemy is entrenching itself within our gates.

The woman leading the session, Nafisa, told of the concerns she had regarding her daughters in the public-school system. She complained about the influence of the MTV culture, and seemed concerned about the rampant sexuality that pervaded all facets of American life, from television to movies and on into the school system. She explained her personal solution – the local Islamic school homeschool, beginning with kindergarten.

Sounds to me like a lot of the homeschool'ers on here...

Do ya think this type of investigation would be done by 60 Minutes or Dateline and given Prime-time exposure?

This reminds me of something I heard about famed Arabic poet (Ican'tremember how to spell his name), He was very popular with the hippie crowd during the late 60s and early 70s. Later I heard that his English writings were all peace and love and non-vilolence while his Arabic writings are full of bloody murder for non-believers.

According to LGF blog and also Rand Simburgs blog Laura Mansfield also audiotaped these sessions at the mosque. Apparently readers were questioning why Mansfield hadn't identified the name and location of the mosque. Rand Simburg emailed her and received this response:

I did not provide details as to the location of the mosque or the date of the visit simply for safety reasons. They do not have my full name. However if I provide the date and the name/location of the mosque I might as well walk back in, hand the imam a copy of the article, and wait for the backlash.

I do not have the weight of a governmental agency behind me; I have had to redact certain information for security purposes.

Let me also add that the sessions were audiotaped - not broadcast quality but certainly understandable.

I was thinking yesterday that having tapes would be wonderful. Sounds like the author was already thinking ahead.
